To receive War-time veterans benefits, the veteran must have served during a specified period. If the veteran qualifies, he or she may be entitled to a basic pension, pension with a household allowance or Pension with an aid and attendance allowance. There is also the possibility that a spouse may qualify for a survivor’s pension.
