About David Davies

Mr. Davies graduated with honors from the University of Tulsa in 1996 where he majored in Political Philosophy and International Studies.David Davies

After spending a couple of years on staff with Student Mobilization, an interdenominational college ministry, he attended the University of Arkansas School of Law and graduated with honors from law school in May 2001.

After being admitted to the Arkansas Bar in the fall of 2001, Mr. Davies accepted a job from Arkansas Attorney General Mark Pryor to serve as Assistant Attorney General in the Criminal Appeals Division. After Mike Beebe succeeded Mark Pryor as attorney general, Mr. Davies remained in his post, fighting on behalf of the people of the State of Arkansas to keep hundreds of criminals behind bars. During his time at the AG’s office, Mr. Davies instructed prosecutors on the laws prohibiting driving while intoxicated, drafted legislation that streamlined legal processes related to regional punishment facilities that saved the state millions of dollars, and successfully handled over one hundred and fifty appeals before the Arkansas Court of Appeals and Arkansas Supreme Court. Mr. Davies left the attorney general’s office to go into private practice in the spring of 2006, after Mr. Beebe announced that he would be running for governor.

In June of 2006, Mr. Davies opened an office in Conway, Arkansas, where he had principally resided since 1997. From the outset, Mr. Davies focused his practice on estate planning, elder law, businesses and corporations, and appeals. Throughout the last 10 years, he has cherished the opportunity to work with families whose goal is to care for their loved ones. He considers himself blessed to be able to serve selfless clients.

Mr. Davies had the privilege of serving as college pastor of Fellowship Bible Church, Conway, from 2004 to 2008. In the last decade, he has led two separate mission teams to Ukraine and India. He taught business law at Central Baptist College in the fall of 2009 and the fall of 2010.

An avid sports fan, Mr. Davies co-authored an article in the University of Notre Dame’s Journal of College and University Law, entitled: “Exploring Student-Athlete Compensation: Why the NCAA Cannot Afford to Leave Athletes Uncompensated.”

Mr. Davies has been an accredited attorney with Department of Veterans’ Affairs since 2009 and is licensed to practice law in Arkansas, Tennessee and Missouri. As of April 2016, he has conducted seminars and classes about Elder Law Issues in Arkansas, Tennessee, Missouri, Texas, Florida, Virginia, Illinois, New Jersey, New York, Iowa, Mississippi and Louisiana as well as the US territory of Puerto Rico.

Mr. Davies is an accredited Attorney with Department of Veterans Affairs, Arkansas Bar Association Elder Law Section, American Bar Association, Trust and Estate Law Section of the ABA, Academy of VA Pension Planners, National Care Planning Council, National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, Kingdom Advisers, Tennessee Bar Association, and Missouri Bar Association.
